How Verity Grew
Built by invitation, since 2003
Verity has never grown through advertising. It has grown through women telling other women, over lunch, after a meeting, across a table at GEORGE: "You need to be here."
Nearly every chapter of our story began with an introduction. A member brought a colleague to a Speaker Series. A founder invited a friend for a swim and a glass of wine. An executive knew a rising leader needed a room like this before she knew it herself. That is how a community of 700+ women was built: one trusted invitation at a time.
Why It Still Matters
Still rare, in our 24th year
A space like Verity remains remarkably rare. Many of the most accomplished women we know describe the same experience: they are often the only woman in the room, and they carry that weight alone.
Verity exists so they don't have to. Women from government, tech, finance, the arts, and the not-for-profit sector gather here, and more than half hold senior leadership or C-suite roles. Ideas cross industries, advice is given freely, and ambition is met with support rather than competition. A room like that doesn't happen by accident. It has to be built and protected, and filled with the right women.
