Despite women’s gains in every field, our voices still account for less than a third of the experts being featured by influential news media. That’s a problem.
The Informed Opinions project Shari Graydon founded in 2010 is working to change that. Its aim is to amplify women’s voices and make it impossible for anyone to ever again declare, “But I couldn’t find a qualified woman.”
Join Shari for a talk that will combine research, humour and stories to explore the media gender gap and strategies that have been proven to make a difference.
