Prepare for an extraordinary experience. Or perhaps a more accurate description might be experiences. Verity's scintillating salon of unique events will tickle your intellect and quite likely your sense of humour too, as you soar far beyond everyday happenings and expand your horizons.

The concept was originally inspired by the Salons of Paris, which originated in the 17th century as a way for lively, interesting people to gather together to stimulate and entertain each other by sharing ideas, experiences and knowledge. Today the program has developed beyond any of our dreams, taking on a life and character that is entirely its own.

Topics are as diverse and engaging as our Members, providing fertile ground for exploring previously unknown talents and awakening new passions. Members have had the opportunity to do everything from learning to conduct an orchestra to sharing the fun of salsa; from exploring words and images from places as far afield as China, Bosnia and Afghanistan, to paring wines like a master sommelier. It is all here for you to discover as we bring in leading figures in a diverse range of areas.
